The CDX2 sounds better on glass when I had it in my system. I compared CDX2 on a glass rack against on Frame Lite, I and my local dealer both agreed that the glass suits it better.

Hi FCDH.

How did the fraim lite change the sound?

From my experience, the Fraim Lite makes the CDX2 sound muddy and slow.

Hi FCDH.

How did the fraim lite change the sound?

I went from Sound Factory Tripods to FraimLite, and The difference wasn't all that!

Everything did appear to quiet down! but sure looks good!

However,  I believe the  Addition of the Glass Nuts & Bolts with the Fraim may take my System to another level.

"It retains the cup-and-cone interface system used by its bigger brother too, but omits the dual layer base and ball-bearing decoupled glass shelf. Reference Fraim levels can be incorporated into the same system as FraimLite so that you can upgrade to our top of the range equipment support on a level-by-level basis."

Hence, I will purchase Fraim shelves for my 282 & Cdx2, and Naim Cups & balls for the Amps & PS's. Should do the trick, but here in the US, The dealers play dumb when you ask them to order Cups & Balls.

Tom Tom in the UK, informed me, that Naim does not allow them to ship to US, but said I should have no problem with Plurison head quarters for N America.

Giving the dealers a little time, before I contact  Plurison!  Wow You guys are lucky over there!
