What do you like best about the sound from your Naim equipment?

Hi everyone, I'm new to this forum and to the giddy heights of Naim equipment. I'm rather impressed with my new purchase, ND5 XS and it got me thinking what do you appreciate most about your sound? Probably can't answer that in a sentence and nor can I. I often look for "detail" and judge upon it, easy really, first impressions and all that, well it's so so different and so refreshing with this player. The first thing I noticed is not the "detail" but the timing which drew me into the music, it didn't take too long to realise I like the sound...... What does that mean though... Well timing is key as mentioned, but after listening all day, totally engrossed and content, happy me, I realise for the first time in my life I do not have listening fatigue! I crave detail and it can be forced I guess, causing ear fatigue. Well all I can say is I have never enjoyed music so much, all day long, and it's the smile on my face and if it's possible I love my favourite artist more (Nerina Pallot). II've never enjoyed music so much..What is it.. "je ne sais quoi" I guess but I did indeed love it, thanks naim for taking the trouble to make such equipment, love it. H :-)

........... . Most (if not all) Naim dealers however are totally committed to the brand and the work they do from my experience. They might simply need a reminder (and possibly a mandatory process)

For all I know, this may already be a part of the requirements laid down by Naim for their dealers and it simply needs to be implemented exhaustively and consistently.

I my previous company experience,  we built up the process by setting the best performing dealers as the grade "A" benchmark.  That initially caused quite a storm as the top dealers were northern European & it was initially considered impossible by the FSU, Mideast & African dealers.   The only region we conceded on was India.  But guess what, they all caught up & that included India,  & was underscored when our Saudi dealer won Dealer of the Year.

Re the 2nd point,  ........  err  I don't think so.

I love the musicality of my Naim Uniti 2. Some have mentioned the lack of listener fatigue and I think that's spot on.  Also I love the superb grooving foot tapping pace which draws you into the music.

I'm now in my senior years but have been a user of mostly decent audio gear in the last 40 odd years, starting with a pair of KEF Reference 103's and a Linn Sondek/ SME arm back in the mid 70's. I still read audio publications and up until my recent acquisition of the Muso, for convenience and decent TV sound,  I thought that I was fully conversant in the various descriptions used to describe the attributes of good speakers. That was until I bought the Muso and started reading up on Naim. In doing so, I hear terms such as "pace" and "timing" used frequently by reviewers of Naim products. I'd be grateful if someone on this site elaborated for me on how these descriptions relate to audio products, e,g what am I supposed to be listening for to recognize pace and timing.

Many thanks to anyone that responds.
