Saw that on the new just Tony, nice and simple
Not sure about the TT but the amp looks like a Leak 3C.
I can make out
BEOGRAM
on the front of the TT.
The Leak is in the same style case-sleeve the as the Trough Line 3 [tuner], and there were several amp options that look like this. From the looks this is identical in fascia to the the early 1960s Stereo Pre-amps, but they made many variants in the same case including integrated amplifiers, though it looks valve-type as the later transistor ones did not have the air slots in the sleeve. No need.

Many thanks, George. I used my phone to take the picture and could not make out the name and did not remember seeing that TT before.
Hope you're enjoying your Trough and the new 600s.
Regards,
Tony
Dear Tony,
A lot on my plate over the next twelve or eighteen months. Both Trough Lines have calved down so currently streaming radio again via the BBC web-page. Apologies for the farming terminology, You will appreciate that before a cow calves down she was necessarily - ehem - as it were - ehem been seen to by the bull. There is a farming term for that as well ...
The capacitors are rotten after more than fifty years ...
When I have the work of sorting out secure housing till I depart this mortal coil fixed, then I’ll get the one Trough Lines completely restored if I can afford it! Maybe VHF has gone before then! I am even existing without loudspeaker replay ... But it is still okay!
Best wishes from George
Tony thanks for posting.Would love to have a look around Jimis London Pad.
On the radio they where saying it was very bohemian interior wise as you would expect !
George pleased your still getting much joy with the Sennheiser' s.....no music in the Fiske house would be unthinkable.
Wishing you both a good day.
Cheers Ian
Tony,
Funny enough today on Planet Rock it was being broadcast from Jimi's London place. They painted a good picture of what it was like and looked at his record collection. Played Dylan's like a rolling stone as Jimi put Dylan right up there. Also played The Beatles a day in the life as they where great friends.
They also played an interview with Lemmy when he recollected his 9 months as Jimi' s roadie and said what a lovely guy he was and he'd never seen a better guitarist.Basically he had it all.He also said it was new bad friends and bad drugs that killed him.
Planet Rock said that back in the day Jimi would conduct interviews laying in his bed.Just imagine the incence and weed in the air not to mention some some supermodel new girlfriend making the tea !
Think I will get my copy of Smash hits out and get some Voodoo Child on.
A bit of hunting. I think your photo catches this model of Bang and Olufsen “Beaogram” turntable!
So either B&O are okay or Jimi was not all that worried!

Don't be shy George. You post like you're a tittering child. Say what you mean. Shagged, pumped, put the ferret through the furry hoop, boned, bonked, buried the beef, clunge plunged, parked the beef bus in tuna town, so many other much funnier euphemisms.
I certainly was tittering, but second childhood would be a better description!
