Macbook + Tidal -> Muso

I've been spoilt the last couple of years with the brilliance of Spotify connect, switching between my laptop and iphone to control my music mid session. I'm trialling Tidal, and whilst its fine on my iphone, my laptop isnt synced at all, which means having to use the iphone or crummy remote to control the stream.

Rather than use airplay (hate it), is there no way of sending or controlling the muso's tidal stream via the laptop?
