So shall I DR my NAP200

I know there have been NAP200 DR posts recently but I am about to get my 2003 NAP200 serviced for the first time. Just wondering if the NAP200 is worth DR'ing if I use a HiCap on my NAC72 pre-amp?

Does the mod improve the power amp section or not?

From what I understand of it, the improvements to power amp part of the 200 are very minor. I certainly wouldn't bother with the upgrade (I'm not sure it's actually available) if I had a Hicap for the 72. In fact, if you plan on keeping the 72, I'd sell the 200 and get a serviced olive 250.

You cannot DR your 200, you'd have to replace it with a DR version.

And the DR in the 200DR only affects the power supply for the preamp, not the power amplifier. You have to go to a 250DR or above to get the DR on a power amplifier.

It might be worth seeing what the trade in would be against a 250DR. It works wonderfully with the 272.
