This is not an update, "there will be no more updates for 0.8.1 or 0.8.2. From now on, all updates will be for 0.8.3 only" quote from simon.

This is a new version, i will update my qnap tomorrow.

Sorry I'm still confused... on the "release notes" link you provided, scrolling back finds this entry...

MinimServer 0.8.3

This is a minor release for all platforms. It was released on 14th December 2014.

All (at least most) bug fixes and updates since have been for 0.8.3.

Unless I'm missing something you are trying to say?

Sorry i am the one who is confused, i misread the notes and thought that this was a new version, i haven't check my nas for updates for a while and when i noticed this after coming back from the hospital today i thought that this was a new version, again sorry for any confusion that i have caused.
