SL interconnect and oldier bumpers

Posted by: Jacques135 on 24 February 2016

Hello,

I have an oldier Naim system -CDS, 52, 135, DBL- and would be interested to have some feedback about the benefits of the SL Din-Din interconnect in such a system or with oldier bumpers.

Thank you

Hello,

No answer ?

Does it mean there's no SL interconnect with olive or chrome boxes?

Have a nice day

You can use the SL wires in the same way as with the current boxes. You need to try them for yourself, I'd suggest.

For me the SL Din-Din interconnect was a big improvement over the hi-line equivalent in a 500 level system. It does cost a lot of money though. Hopefully a friendly dealer will lend you one to try in your system.

As Tim Vine would say eleven twenty five, quarter to eight, half past four: GOOD TIMES!!!

For sure I will try to test one if I have an opportunity and will give my opinion.

I already test a Highline but was not convinced.

I feel a lack of PRAT after the first period of surprise.

I came back to the grey standard interconnect and was again happy.

I hope the SL interconnect will keep the general character of the standard one with adding other qualities.

If this could be the case, the price will be for me totally ok, so to say!
