ASSET NAS Server in da house

Just plugged in a brand new ASSET NAS. Set up was as easy as can be. Total commander at work on copying music over from the much messier WD MyBook. It is headed to retirement as a back up version.

So far n-stream running much faster....getting closer to iTunes type speed.

So, a vote for illustrate and thanks to those here who pointed me in a good direction.

The hfx made RipNAS units are quite tasty - even as hfx devices they cost an arm and a leg purchased direct from Vienna.

Many thanks for your replies. I managed to get hold of Anna at Ripcaster and she was very helpful. I will think it over but am seriously considering going for the AssetNas as it sounds very easy to set up and works well with the NDX. I just need to sort out my network so that I can have the NAS in a different room from the hifi.
