Uniti and FLAC files

Hi I have downloaded a FLAC file from Naim label but my Uniti cannot see the file on my computer, it can see the computer and other files i have but not the FLAC ones. Can anyone assist and are FLAC files the best ones to use for the Uniti

Assume you are using UPnP? The built-in Windows UPnP server doesn't support FLAC files. I have used Twonky UPnP with success but there are lots of options.
