NARCOM 5

Do you have a picture of it? That should tell you. It must be very new as the only Google search result seems to be this thread. 

I have a 4 & 5 in front of me and can't find a function on the 5 that isn't on the 4. The 5 arrived mid December with a new pre, I prefer the 4.

So what does the "5" look like ???  There's nothing in the Naim products listing.   Is it shown in a manual, & which one.  

The 5 is shown in the new CD Reference Manual, Issue 8c. Listed price is 100£.

OK  gottit  !!!!  Yuk,  looks (& expect it feels) like the "6" that is supplied with the network players.   Its a real clunky thing compared to the NARCOM 4.   But for me its OK 'cause I only use it for getting into the display with beta testing,  my normal use is iPad for NDX & some amp stuff & NARCOM 4 does the rest ..... & long may that continue    

Functionality is identical. Buttons are a little bit more logically placed than on Narcom4.

I tend to use my NDX remote anyway with system automation...

One came with my new 282dr, it's probably a little heavier then Narcom 4 , feels more solid, but not surprisingly does exactly the same as it's predecessor, and music sounds exactly the same......maybe it needs to burn in....ummm !!!

Mine came with the new CDX2.2
