For some reason  when lifting tonearm it swings to right  checked lp12 to see if it's level and no problem there

It's called anti-skate.

As Badlands has replied, your bias, or anti-skate, may be off. If you are not comfortable recalibrating the arm have a dealer do it for you. The usual starting point is the same value as your VTF, or the tracking force set for your cartridge. Check this first. If the values are close, and your arm is still swinging back to the right you may need the arm serviced. Good luck!

Also worth noting...

The arm-lift mechanism on an Ittok has a rubberised surface to it to stop the arm moving from side to side. Over time this rubber collects dirt, grime and dust and becomes slick. If you 'roughen it up' by way of a wipe with some emery paper, or run the edge of your thumbnail across it, you can get rid of this layer of dirt and re-introduce the grippy nature of the rubber layer.

It's there to counter the anti-sikating force when the arm is raised or lowered. My bet is that your anti-skate is set OK but the rubber layer is not countering it.

Easy to check, 10 seconds to fix if I'm right.

Worked well on mine and my dad's Ittok players.

Best of luck
