Powerline EU / FI-E38 (R) Schuko change

I understood that the latest Powerline EU are now equipped with the Furutech FI-E38 (R) Schuko connector that has replaced the FI-E35 (R) model in the manufacturer line quite some time ago.:]

What are, in the view of Salisbury and of others, the evolution and improvement brought by the FI-E38 (R) and for what effect on overall SQ? If substantial, should we think of replacing or retrofit our continental Powerlines? :ghee:

Hi Chagrin,  just got 5 new PowerLines in today. All with the new connectors.  Look impressive. I am afraid I can't compare with the old ones though - as the are replacing the standard cables...

I cannot hear any difference between them - have both old and new ones. Perhaps just a colour change from transparent to black?
