UL finds router .. enter password .. Naim says ' can't login ' are there any known issues between these 2 products .. any help appreciated
I'm not sure I understand this. When you say the UL finds the router, do you mean the wifi and you can't log into the wifi? There aren't any known issues of this sort between these two products so far as I know. Is your wifi good and strong where your UL is? If it's weakish then that might be why you get this message. I get this when my iPhone tries to join my wifi from my kitchen, where the wifi signal is almost absent. It's ok if I walk a few yards towards the router.
You could also try a wired connection to get things going?

Several things to check / test:
- Enable DHCP on your router
- Plug your UnitiLight via a Cat 5 (or higher) cable into the router
- Make sure that UL is switched to DHCP as well
Do let us know how you get on.

Cannot plug UL into router as in different rooms .... My UL finds my router / network and asks for my wifi password but then i get the message ...... Can't Log In ... It worked in the past but not anymore i wondered if Virgin had done any updates that may cause the problem but if people out there aren't having problems with their Virgin Routers i,ll just have to look further into it
That's ok.
can you just unplug your UL and physically connect it to your router? No need for speakers. We need to see if this is a generic router problem / failure / setting or is it limited to WiFi only.
Going forward, my advice would be that you buy an Apple router e.g. Airport Express or larger and use that as a start of your home network. You'd physically connect the Virign router to the Apple one, by a short Cat 5 cable. All your other devices would then connect to Apple. It is inherently more stable.

Ensure that WiFi connectivity is enabled in the UL menus, ensure that the WiFi antenna is properly attached to the UL.
Then, try using a different security mode setting on the router.
Note that by using a wired Ethernet connection, you will get a more reliable connection (no dropouts), the ability to stream high sample rate Hi-Res music (24/192) and better sound quality.
I used an older Virgin Superhub and the new Superhub 2 and never had any problem getting my UQ2 to connect to either, it just connected first go like any other wifi device. I did connect a third party router but only to get better wifi coverage. A wired connection is far and away better though
