It's very easy - just pull the old ones off, then stick the new set in place, making sure you fit them in exactly the same position as the old ones. IIRC they're self-adhesive.

Yup. Just try to replicate the original positions. I use a suitably sized coin to stick the part of the strip inside the tube. Or the end of a curved-handle teaspoon works even better.

The advice is much appreciated, I can gather that it is not an exact science, just try and replicate the existing positons of the pads.
