Complaint about Naim

I don't own 5oo series, and I want too..............

As I just said on another thread... "You gotta have a dream."

My dream is Statement - the chances of it coming true are directly proportional to the odds of one of my five lottery tickets winning.  But I can live with that without stressing.

Then pop along to your local Naim dealer and place an order....

As my mate says, "Dreams are Free".  I read another one recently which said, "Money doesn't make you happy....But I lets you buy stuff which does!!!"

Why are Naim ICs and Powerlines so bloody long with no options?

I'd happily pay the same price for half-lengths of each in my system. It would certainly make cable dressing easier and clean up the whore's nest of PLs strung on the floor under and behind my rack. Most of us situate gear near an outlet and plug PLs into power strip anyways. As for the capacitance/resistance issue related to ICs, I'm sure that could be engineered appropriately (if a real issue at all).

.....when you have upgraded a couple of times you should be eligible for a free next upgrade (statement for me)......

Re length of cables....it matters.  I worked out that I could redeploy my Valhalla's to lengthen the run by using two of nordosts power strips inseries with a valhalla between. You would think all those connections would be bad, that was my expectation bias.  Wrong. The additional metre added to the sound quality despite everything.  Have now used this configuration for about 2 years and swear by it.

Any chance of a colour-coded diagram for this Briz ?

I found as soon as the gear spreads to a second rack, those cable lengths are a blessing.
