SNAIC is back, and still hooked on vinyl.

For the last few months all I've done is buy records, clean them and listen.  I'm nearing 500 records in under a year already!  Today I bought a Magavox record player and media center from 1967 from the original owner, along with two boxes of vinyl totaling 80 records for $98.  The record play has 4 speeds: 78 33 45 16 and it still works!  Never heard of 16 speed before.

Anyway this is the slim, short, long media center I've been looking for to sit between my Credo.  It's snug against the wall, and has my Oppo on top of it, and holds all my DVDs.

I've now got 80 records to clean and listen to and I'm in heaven...original records from the 60's and 70's:  Nat King Cole, Pavarotti, John Denver, Chet Atkins,  Neil Diamond, and tons of other stuff I've never heard of.  On top of that about half of it classical which excites me since I don't have much classical yet.

Most recently I also stocked up on Merle Haggard as he passed the other day, and it's been wonderful listening to his records, all of which I grew up listening to in Texas.

Room is nearly completed, and it won't be long before my birthday and I move from RP3 to RP6.
