I can't help with the Nait1 evaluation, but I do have Rega RS1's and they are a very accomplished speaker. I bought them to accompany my Unitiqute, and they did that very well.  Atfer I sold my Qute, I used the RS1 with a NAC202 + NAP155XS, again to good effect.  So I can recommend the RS1 to you for use with a smaller Naim system (if folks will forgive the term 'smaller').

I just took delivery of some Titan 808's to dem... now those would probably not be OK with a Nait... so I'm off to do some listening.

Every speaker will work in one way or another. It's just wheter you're going to like it or not is important.

Just test it

Not so fast rj- I ran my T88's with a Nait2/ CDS3/555 to very good effect!

A bit of a "let's see what this will sound like? " moment on my part- the dark days of winter compel me at times to experiment... The Nait2 did a fine job of it. All a bit tongue in cheek here, but you get what I mean..

If you google Tnt Nait you will find a recommendation for Linn Index. This will save you cash and have the advantage of being a contemporaneous design. Whether the combo can be bettered with, say, RS1s.... difficult to say.

Index along with Nexus are awfull speakers, get some Kan's if Linn is on the table

The Rega RS1 are great for smaller amplifiers such as Brio or Mira or several Naits  due to high effiency, that counts for smaller room at least.

Advantage you can run the Rega's close to wall on stands, bookshelf or wall brackets, they just play fine, much better than its larger sisters with sidefiring boombas

I ran my UQ with RS1 in a period with no complaints

Oh, and we were doing so well too, what with you agreeing something I'd written (for the first time in years!!) on the SBL Yorks thread! Normal service resumed  :-)

Kans aren't that a good a match for a Nait 1: low efficiency and not a particularly easy load in transient terms.
Kans really need a much more powerful amp to shine properly, a Nait 1 will struggle with them and won't be able to give of its best.

Why on earth should I agree on something I don't agree in at all, even you have read it somewhere mean not its true

If you have a problem with my opinion/experience why not use the ignore buttom ?
