Disappearing artwork Synology media server

The artwork for my latest ripped CDs has disappeared when using media server. They have appeared but when I open it it just displays the blue no artwork symbol. Any clues or anyone else experienced this since latest DMS update. Everything is ok if I use Logitechs media server and all other albums are ok so I know the artwork is present in the source files. I have to be quick to capture the screenshot but here goes....

I just noticed something similar this week (post DSM update): MediaStation shows no art on my iPad, but it's showing on my iPhone; MinimServer shows art on both. 

(I have enjoyed that Underworld album, but on Tidal not UPnP...artwork fine)

Just load Minimserver. It works really well, and transcodes gapless WAV, which the media server cannot manage.

I've had this every time with new downloads or editing in NAS since DSM-6,    Prior to DSM-6 it would happen once in a while.    The fix is to clear both the UPnP & Image cache's in the app.    Its a good idea to do that every so often anyway.    

It seems its the DSM-6 auto-indexing is not working the same as it was with DSM-5,  so a whole share re-index might be something to add to the tool box.

Ok thanks. Clearing upnp and cache has not resolved it. Mike what do you mean by re-index?

HH I have used minim server but lost it as a result of synology updates and have had problems trying to reinstall it.

If you look at the Minim website there are full instructions. There is also a thread on here about it.

Synology webpage    Control Panel>Indexing Service>Re-Index  .............  it takes numbers of minutes depending on the share size.  Just let it run. 

Its been noted on the Synology forum so hopefully the auto-index will get reinstalled in the near future.

No probs Pixies, happy to help anyone if & when I'm able - plus it works both ways - & it helps keeps the ol' brain cells active - & its what I did in one way or other for most of my working life.
