Another 250DR Convert

250dr arrived this morning after impulse purchase on the auction site. As I'm currently running IBLs active with 2x 250.2 the plan was to test it to ensure it was working then pop the 250.2 back in and store the DR until funds permitted a matching companion. Needless to say the 250.2 didn't make it back on the rack and I'm searching down the back if the sofa for loose change to get a mate for the DR. Admittedly there are some odd moments having one speaker on a 250.2 and the other on a DR but overall it still sounds significantly better than before. Be interesting to see how things evolve as the new boy settles in. Now, off to smash the piggy bank.
It is a good amp, isn't it?

Not new. Late 2015. Don't know how much use it's had. Looked new out of the box though. Cables were still sealed. Just packed in for the night. Interesting the way the sound has evolved during the course of the day. More details appearing and the bass deepening. Very keen now to get things on an even keel and replace the other 250.2. Will hang on to that one. Active briks are the goal now.
