I kinda skipped upgrade option 1

Posted by: Got Hi-Fi? on 05 May 2016

So, I am currently running a 202/200DR/HICAPDR. I am just wondering, at this stage, what improvements could I expect in adding a NAPSC? or would it be worth while? Thanks.

The NAPSC does seem to clean up the sound nicely. For the money, I'd say it is definitely worthwhile.

I had a 202 in the past and it didn't sound right without a napsc. I'd say that the napsc is essential in order to get the 202/200 sounding really good. This is why it's upgrade 1.

G H-F, Napsc takes away a hard edge but doesn't make the sound soft, if that makes any sense. Very worthwhile.

I was in the same position as you because I'd had a HC-DR on my XS, then bought NAC202, NAP200.
