Nait 5 to SONOS Connect

Posted by: Jamie Marwitz on 15 May 2016

Hello,

I want to know whether the signal out din connections (A or B, not sure the difference between them) can be sent to SONOS connect RCA inputs.  I want to get SONOS speakers but continue to use cd, vinyl.

Has anyone done this? If so, where did you purchase the cable?

thanks

Jamie

Yes it can be connected like this.

Speak to your Naim dealer, or do a search on-line for "5-pin DIN to RCA" leads - simply select the length you require.
Try the usual on-line auction sites they usually have them listed.

Note that a 5-pin DIN to RCA is a different cable from a RCA to 5-pin DIN.  They are wired differently.  Also note that there's more than one wiring used for the channels in 5 pin DIN sockets.  You either need to talk to a dealer or you need to look at the manual (or possible the back of the amp) to see which lead wiring pattern you need.

Thanks for the answer. I received the same information from David at Flashback sales. I purchased the correct cable from him and having shipped to Canada.
