Hi fellow Naim users, especially those using Nac 282. I do appreciate your help in this.
The sound is coming only from one of my speaker.
I checked the balance wheel and it is positioned in the middle.
When I switched speaker cable, (i.e. Left to Right) the sound will come from the other speaker.
However, when I press mon, both speakers will have sound..
I only have one source NDX.
Have you all experienced such problems before? If so, how did you solve it?
Thanks for your help.

Probably a fault in the interconnect cable, but could also be a fault in the NDX or NAC 282. Without another source component or cable to use it's dificult to diagnose definitively.
Try swapping the interconnect to another input into the 282 to see if it's just that one input into the pre-amp.

Thanks Skip.
I will try this method but it will really puzzles me why a Naim system will have such weird reactions.
But if it really works I am in heaven.

If sound is coming from both speakers when you press the mono button then that would indicate that the pre-amp and power amp (and associated interconnects) are most likely fine, and that it's a problem with the source or source interconnect. Switch off the system and re-make the source connections to the pre-amp. Switch on again.

Hi Richard,
You are right. I was testing with the local dealer. When we use din, sound came out only from one speaker. But when we used RCA, it was stereo.
I sent in the NDX for checking.
