Tellurium Q Ultra Blue mains cable

Nice gift! I too had great results with a number of different TQ cables when I owned Naim plus if it's a new cable sit tight as they tend to improve with use so I can only suggest it will be even better in 2-3 weeks.

I think I have family envy!

All the reviews say it's an outstanding cable, you must keep us up to date on how long the burn in time is and just how much improvement it makes....in the meantime enjoy.....

Yeah I've got a great family Knipster. 

If the power cable continues to improve over time as the interconnect and speaker cables did, then I'll have a bigger smile on my face in fees weeks time!

To be fair Wenger the coffee could do with an upgrade too. I'll get on to it. 

That'll be a second TQ ultra blue for the coffee machine then! 

I'll demo it on the coffee machine tomorrow to make sure I can taste the difference Dave. 

Don't want to be picky, but can you make sure cable is burned in fully and then use it on coffee machine.....I'm not a big fan of sub-standard coffee....

Maybe the coffee need to be burnt in also. One day left alone on heat should do the trick.

Yes it replaced the standard Naim mains cable. I had tried Black rhodium Libra and Cratos. Sounded awful 

TQ cable is brilliant

By the by - I tried many different power supply cables - ended up with Power Lines at th end... probably not something you wanted me to write...

I'm actually a great fan of TQ interconnects - I prefer TQ Black Diamond DIN over Hi-Line (and use it in one of my systems between nDAC and SuperNait2).
I was less impressed with their speaker cables though - somehow Naim's own garden hoses sounded more coherent.

Yeah I've got the black diamond Din. Great cable. I've heard the naca5 and preferred the TQ black. Just my preference. I've heard further up the line at a show but not in my system.  I think I'll have some more black boxes before any more cable upgrades. Unless I see a TQ black mains cable at a bargain price for my SN 

I also prefer the TQ Black speaker cables  then the Nac a5, it would be interesting to compare the TQ ultra blacks with Super Lumina? 

Regarding a TQ black mains cable.....it's gonna be very very good, I've not yet come across any TQ product that's not sounded exceptional...

We'll have to get our friendly dealer to send a few boxes of cables over for us to compare. SL cables, your ultra blacks and some black and silver diamonds!
