uniti 1: Fault 11 32KHz XTAL

Hello,

my uniti 1 (working fine for years now) suddenly displayed an "Fehler 11 32KHz XTAL" (Certainly translated to "Fault 11"). Nothing did work. Turning it off and on again did not help at first try.

After keeping the device turned off for maybe half an hour it came back to work when turning it on. It seems to work fine now again.

I am a little bit afraid what could be the case for this fault 11? Does anybody know what it means?

I have contacted the german support by contact form and was called back a few hours later. The fault 11 might be a temporal thing that usually will not occur again. But if it happens more often I have to send the device in so they can check and repair it.

(Fault 11 does mean that a "crystal"(?) on the main board that is responsible for the internal CPU(?) clocking was not initialised correctly.)

The error did occur again and now happens permanently. I am lucky that barely 3 months of warranty are left.

Sounds as if it's related to the DAB / FM section....

DAB/FM is the part of the device that I usually do not use. It's not good if this draws the whole uniti useless. But ok, it is like it is.
