New Goodies

I have just received 2 new additions; powerline and SL IC. They are sitting in my office and will be plugged in later tonight. Yes I will install both together and yes I shall try the PL on not just the NAP (the intended target) but the other boxes in time. The SL/IC will replace a HL. I look forward to reporting some changes later in the day.

Back home now. Installed the goodies. I plucked a CD from the rack, Jack Johnson, which kind of stands out being bright yellow. Not my "test track" but will do. First up is Better Together. Two things struck me right away. Deep bass. This is not or has not been a bass heavy track/artist. Well it now has profound lower tones. Next up, at the other end, the sticks on the hi-hat. Again, registered it before but now very easy to pick out in the mix. First impressions then are very positive.
