What version of the app are you using? iOS or Android?

Android . Nac 272.

I've seen this too, on Android, but not on iOS or the Tidal app. I've spoken to Naim about it, and they were investigating; I'll let them you've had the same issue. They may be interested to know what device you are using, and which release number of the app, so maybe you could post that here.

Sledgehammer approach seems to have worked. Deleted and reinstalled both the Naim app and the tidal app.

Keep an eye on it. I found that the content reappeared after a few hours if I just did nothing, but then it always vanished again shortly afterwards.

You are right, I can see content under some sections but playlists and whats new are blank. Will check later with an ipad and see if I get the same...and I see there is no way to get the naim app to play through the Naim (like spotify) which in my opinion is daft.

I'm not aware of any way to do this on Android, and if there was, it would probably come with reduced sound quality compared to the Naim app Tidal integration. Let's hope Naim come up with a fix...

Hi Rohan,

What Android device are you using? I see that ChrisSU also asked this of you too but I don't see a reply anywhere...

I'm not sure what you mean by "and I see there is no way to get the naim app to play through the Naim (like spotify)" ... surely the Naim app does play through the Naim streamer?

Do you mean that you can't see how to get the TIDAL app to play through the Naim streamer directly (which is what spotify does)? In that case - Spotify and TIDAL work in very different ways ...

Spotify use their own "Spotify Connect" model which has its own lovers and haters but Spotify specifically exclude browsing their servers from a third party app and only allow Spotify Connect client access through their own client code that they provide.

TIDAL use a different model whereby they allow the browsing of their servers from third party apps so it is possible to create a much more streamlined experience with their model.

Hi Phil,

I am running Android 4.4.2 on My Samsung Galaxy Note3.

And sorry, you are right, I meant TIDAL app not naim app and thx for clarifying the  difference  between spotify and tidal.

Ios works OK

My Walkman will only run the relatively old Android version 4, which the OP is also using, so I wonder if the Naim app/Tidal issue is specific to that? Pure speculation, of course...

Good to hear the app is now behaving itself. Seems like this might just be an Android 4 issue?
