Given that the fixtures are now out, I thought it would be appropriate to start a new thread.

What a charming young lady.
The FA were anxious that Chelsea did not win as they would have needed to move the Community Shield to a neutral venue
I'd like to see Huddersfield win their play-off. My family's from up there.
A close game but I think the team that showed the most adventure earned their win in the end. Can't help but warm to the stressed and emotional Huddersfield chairman. If you've got to rely on a man to take a penalty worth £170m, you can't go far wrong to pick a German.
Congrats to Huddersfield! Look forward to seeing them, the Barcodes and (especially) Brighton in the Prem and at the Bradydome next season.
From a Donny Tyke, well done Huddersfield !!!!!!
Puel sacked. Who now?

Tuchel, ex-B Dortmund?
Local paper says not. They have suggested Frank de Boer.
Well the last Dutch manager you had was a success, Chris. I think I saw Pellegrino linked too. I thought he did well at Man C and behaved admirably with the hostile press.
Quite right. Thanks.
Have you still got Cook?
He's gone to Wigan in search of more cash.
Thanks Nigel. Just looked at Beeb site and see that you and Mike have Kenny Jackett now.
Very pleased with Jackett. While my lot had a great un in the last 10 games, I always had doubts about Cook's tactics. He had no plan B, and the lack of coaching in the team to defend and exploit set-pieces was often evident. In Jackett I think we've got a much, much better coach.

Spot on, HH. And not long after saying the only circumstance in which he would leave the club was if he was no longer wanted.

St Pellegrino could be good, after last season fell a little flat.
It's Manuel Pellagrini not Pellagrino.
Sheik Mansour went to Spain in a Lamborghini brought us back a manager Manuel Pelagrini.
A song we used to sing incessantly when he was at Man City

Chris
Thanks for the link
I got the wrong manager,
Sorry my mistake
Not at all. When I first read suggestions of Pellegrino in the paper I mixed him up with Pellegrini too.

Is 'Arry Redknapp doing anything at the moment?

Pellegrino or the quality of the Ohec's journalism, or both?

Hopefully many effervescent performances to look forward to now, from Saints next season.
Frank De Boer at Palace - interesting. Bournemouth splashing some cash too.
Listening to the radio when these fixtures came out, it was interesting that all the pundits were blithely carrying on as if the old order (Man U, City, Arsenal, Chelsea) had not been disrupted.
All the "important" matches were these four plus Liverpool. No mention of the likes of Spurs, Leicester or WHU.
I suspect the newspapers will be the same.
But is the old order still tenable? There is no proof that Guardioloa or Conte will adapt to thePL, or that Maureen is the right choice for the Mancs.
Everyone has much more money, and, because of Leicester's achievement last year, nobody is scared of the so-called big boys, all the "little" teams no longer "know their place".
It'll be the most exciting, open season ever and the "big boys" and their media supplicants won't have it all their own way. So, at the risk of making ourselves look stupid, anyone got any predictions?
