Hi to all!

I just like to know what do you think it is the best recorded/mixed/mastered album in terms of definition and clarity? Do you use it for your testing porpuses?

Thanks for your oppinions :-)

just re listening to Roger Waters Amused to Death thanks to this thread and have discovered that my CD Rip from EAC is appreciably better than Tidal's version. Utterly fantastic!

Another one for you folks to check out is Sara K. Any of her albums as they are all equally fantastically produced but I have the CD version of her album Water Falls. "running away from you" is my favourite track and was discovered due to a DVD from B&W being given with a speaker purchase many years ago. The DVD included a PCM copy of a live performance which was fabulous but not a patch on her studio recordings. Enjoy.

That's a very difficult question. At the moment I'd say Pink Floyd - "The Final Cut", and Roger Waters, "Pros ans Cons of Hitchhiking" Both these albums are far from being my favorite music, but I do sometimes enjoy them. They were recorded, using Holophonics  https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Holophonics

In places the sound, especially vocal, can be frighteningly realistic and spacious, even on speakers. If you are of a nervous disposition, do not listen via Stax headphones.
