Nac 42.5 and edwards mc1 plus

Hi all. Just looking at replacing my 323 boards and wondered if above phono stage would be a worthwhile option through tape in on my pre??? Any comments?? Cheers Dave.

Sorry that was a bit brief! I have an LP12, Ittok LVII and a new AT-OC9/iii. I just thought that maybe the 323 cards may be a bit "old hat" for my gear, but budget as usual is a bit limited now I've got the cartridge! Nap 140 and NAC 42.5 recently serviced so don't really want to have to buy another pre amp as I've just ploughed money into the combo! Cheers Dave.

I'd spend the money on a nice chrome bumper Hicap. The Naim boards are very very good, and the Hicap will raise the performance of the 42.5 enormously.

Thanks, I've been looking for months now and would dearly love one but I guess the price in my head is different to everyone else! Just looking at a serviced one now and its at £500. Too much I'm afraid. Just have to wait. I do agree though, it would be money well spent following the Hicap route.
