Moving on from mu-so (Update)

Posted by: blag on 23 June 2016

Hi

It's been a while since my last visit, but I haven't been idle.

There is SO much wisdom on these fora, and I thought I'd just a) express gratitude and b) update - if anyone's interested.

My mu-so is still with me, as is the SuperUniti* which I bought six months later, back in March.

I am both pleased and , well, 'miffed' is about as strong as I'd put it.

Why, I hear you ask? Well - following a little PPI windfall - I ended up following Hungry Halibut's early advice. I now have a 272 and a 250DR!!

And oh boy, was HH right!!! If only....

* no speakers for it, so I'll probably sell it on.

I'm confused. 'If only....'  If only what?

AH!! I see that my little teaser has spiked a modicum of interest.

Firstly, I do have speakers, but not for the SuperUniti!!

The If only...

If only I had listened.

If only I had more cash when I decided to purchase the SuperUniti.

If only I had known that this PPI claim would come along.

If only I had believed that there could be SUCH an improvement in Sound Quality from the 272/250 compared to the SuperUniti.

I could go on, but I'm sure you get it now.

How do you know there's an improvement in sound quality without any speakers?

I suspect Blag had speakers for the SuperUniti which they moved to the NAC-N 272 / NAP250 when they upgraded!
