US oddities

A couple of things I've noticed:

if a cd is reported as 'unknown' and you abort mid-rip the display on the iPhone app does not clear. Subsequent cds are not recognised and a reboot is necessary. If you let the rip complete this problem doesn't occur. (Reported to Naim)

Occasionally the iPad app (and n-Serve) will retrieve a cover and put it into the metadata but the iPhone app won't, even after a cache refresh. The only solution is to manually edit the record in the iPhone app.

Perhaps you need a new iPhone ? Looks like the only common variable between the two 'problems' is the iPhone....'

Interesting response. The other common variable is Naim software, is it not?

When I had a Serve, I let unknown albums rip and then added the track names, art etc via the nServe app.  It always worked fine. Maybe the answer is not to abort them.

I second this - let the album rip.

Also use iPad n-Serve to control the ripping process - very stable. iPhone is a bit too small for that.
