Touching up

My CDX has a shiny corner where the paint has worn. What is the recommended paint to touch-up Olive products?

Thanks

Will.

When I had olive stuff I used a black marker pen.

For tiny little areas of paint loss it's best to use a fine-tip permanent black marker - you need to find one that is properly black and doesn't leave a rose-tint.

The shoe polish is ideal to make the cases look good, but won't work on any shiny corners.

I tend to use black artists acrylic paint (water based), it dries to a matt / satin finish and is more or less indistinguishable once dry. Two light coats with a (very) fine brush to layer the paint, dampening off any excess with a MF cloth.  I found that a black marker can fade over time. I used this effectively on my chrome bumper Nait 2 to hide a couple of marks where the anodising had worn over time and it completely covered the effected areas.

Thanks all, black marker pen used, and I'll monitor durability. Will

The title of this thread is very misleading to the casual viewer! Should have added +1 on black marker pen but test it firsts because some have a slight purple colour to them

I was somewhat concerned as to the ambiguous title, and the potential for confusion. Don't titter.
