Unitiqute 2 Setup query - digital output

Hello there. First post having had my account recently clear customs so thanks for having me.

I have recently invested in a naim multiroom streaming setup comprising a untiqute, muso and qb and must say im VERY impressed with all of this kit, especially the unitiqute. I walked into a local hifi store with sonos in mind but the muso caught my eye and after some listening to the Unitiqute 2 was sold.

I'd like to ask two questions if I may regarding the setup:

1) Should i select large or small speakers? They are PSB mini bookshelf speakers so thinking small but thst might not necessarily be the case? I read you select small when using a sub which i am not.

2) In setup there is an option "Digital output" Should this be enabled? What os it for? The options when enabled is selected is Native or 196khz.

Any help on either of these will be appreciated.

Digital output should only be enabled if you were connecting the UQ to an external DAC which you aren't so you should leave it disabled.

IIRC the small speaker option is there for when used with non full frequency speakers which might be used with a subwoofer. Whilst you have bookshelf speakers these may have a sufficiently low roll off frequency not to require a sub.

Yes, as said above, use the LARGE setting unless you're using a subwoofer too.
