NAP power output in 4ohms

Posted by: Tham Kok Leong on 07 July 2016

Anyone know what is the power output of NAP in 4ohms.

[1] NAP100

[2] NAP150XS

[3] NAP200DR

[4] NAP250DR

[5] NAP300DR

[6] NAP500DR

As naim website only stated the power output in 8ohms but not 4?   Please updates.

Thanks.

4Ohm loads are listed in the product specs on naim.com for that NAP100 (75W).

For others it depends. I think the name of most of the NAPs is derived loosely on the power output into 4Ohms accross 2 channels but I suspect this is extremely varibale now (hence the NAP100 actually posting the load to clarify). So NAP250 would roughtly be 125W into 4Ohms.

I'm sure these have been listed elsewhere in the forum.

Traditionally model number indicates amp's output added in stereo pair.

So, 500's output @ 4ohms is 250wpc ( hence 500 = 250 x 2 )

300's output @ 4 ohms is 150wpc, 250 outputs 135wpc etc..

Don't take this the wrong way, but, the information you seek is worthless, especially where Naim amps are concerned.
