I've done a search on this topic but can't find a solution.
I can see most images but occasionally all I get is a small blue square with a white ? mark. This has occurred even with images I have posted, although they were there when I first posted them. ( I copied and pasted them from my MacBook Pro).
In preferences > Appearance>" Display images when page is opens" is ticked.
Any suggestions welcome.

P.S. If this occurs in Mail I can see some images by pressing the "Load Images" button. This option doesn't appear in Safari.

If you have linked an image to a site that blocks referrals (from forums), you can often see it as it is cached in your temporary internet folder,but when that is cleared you will no longer see the image.
Others will not see the image at all.
However, if you are talking about images you have uploaded from your hard drive, I am at a loss to the cause of the problem.
