Phono input Naim Nac 62

Is RCA input on a Nac 62 a modification? It seem to have BNC input from new.
If I buy a Nac 62 with RCA input would that be a bad choice?
If if has RCA phono sockets fitted then these would have been added after it left the factory. The NAC62 had BNCs fitted without exception.

Depends on whether your tuntable cable is terminated with BNC or RCA plugs.
I use a 62 with BNC to RCA adaptors, my turntable is fitted with RCA's. Sounds great.
In theory RCA socket to RCA plug should sound even better.
errrrrr ..... it's actually the other way round. BNC to RCA adapters ruin the sound. Do yourself a favor, get rid of the phono plugs and ask someone to fit proper Naim BNC ones or do it yourself if you think you're able to do the job.
Kota,
I was saying RCA plug/RCA socket should sound better than BNC/RCA adaptors/RCA plug.
I know using an adaptor is supposed to not sound good, but I’m using them and the system sounds great. My turntable (with adaptors) sounds better than a CDS2. Although I think the fact I’m using good quality RCA plugs (Tiffany) helps.
Better use adaptors than having a molested unit.

Disagree
Those adapters are awfull and screw the performance
Most TT's comes with RCA and users end up not hearing what their combo are capable of
Get BNC on the TT or nextbest put RCA on pre, many dealers did this way back, its not molested
True, In that case better still get phono to BNC TT cables if you still really wish to use a vintage pre.
Sorry,it would be definitely molested otherwise.
In what way is sound quality affected using the adapters, regards
