How to remove streaming device in naim app?

Posted by: gert on 22 July 2016

Hello,

I had manually added a naim streamer with a static IP address in the naim app (Android) because I had the feeling that it would be found more quickly. Now the streamer has changed (modified hardware) so that I have two naim streamers listed in the naim app.

a) the manually added old entry
b) the automatically found new device

I cannot find a way to remove the old entry. Is there a trick to do this? (It is not really a big problem, but I would like to clean up there.)

Thank you
Gert

You could try resetting the APP in settings if not remove and re install the APP on your Android device.

As above. Reinstall the app?

+ re-install the app,  you might need to reset the router.   And while you are working on the router go back to everything on DHCP - static IP addresses (outside the ISP licence) are not required for home LAN's & can be a bad place if you get in trouble.

Thank you for your answers. I just wanted to start the way of reinstalling the app. But I thought that there must be another way. And indeed I somehow had overlooked it in my first tries:

Just touch the three dots menu for the device. Then you see some details for it. On this page you have another three dots menu, but only if the unit was added manually. The one and only menu item is for removing the entry.
