DISTRIBUTOR MEETING

ı think there was a distributors meeting last week, maybe international distributors one that i am not sure, any insight news from anyone?
Surely anything discussed at the meeting is embargoed? You may get to hear if the coffee was any good, but little else.
No one will say anything even if they know anything. :-)

I've heard nothing from 007.
In case of International distributors, maybe anticipation on Brexit. In case Naim stops sales on the continent caused by the complexity of new trading regulations, I forsee good business via the Gibraltar route. Smuggling DR modules would be my prime candidate.
In my previous life working for a mnftr, whenever we had an Int Dealer Meeting (Eur/Asia/ME/Af) & anounced something new with embargo conditions we had bets on how long it would take before we had a customer enquiry - measured in hours rather than days. Hence if we really wanted to keep it quiet, we said nothing. Field testing was particularly challenging & guess who mng'd field testing.
Emre, meetings with distributors are a regular part of ongoing business. Details of such meetings are between the manufacturer and distributors, and general forward sales strategy or new product plans apart, most of which will be of little or no relevance to customers.
To avoid any unnecessary and possible misleading speculation, I think I'm going to close this thread now.
