No cd msg

Hi, inserting a CD into my UNITI, I just see the msg NO CD on the display.
I've tried to use different CDs but the result is always the same, I guess that the mech have failed. I will send it to my dealer as naim suport suggests. I'm just asking if somebody ran into a similar problem and how it was fixed

Naim support will have told you the things you can try before sending it in for service and if nothing worked then I would do as they suggest. It's not really a self-help problem I suspect.
