Looks like an expensive time for Bobheads!

Rumours abound that Sony will release a 22+ CD box set of the Bob Dylan "World Tour 1966" before year end!
This will then secure the copyright of these performances and make Sony a lot of money...I have my credit card ready.

Less than £100 last time I looked so good value for 36 CDs. Pity that there isn't a download option for the full set - it appears that only the RAH concert is going to be available via download. The '66 concerts (well at least the ones that I have heard) are all very similar; there isn't the variety of later tours so it wouldn't be a set that I would be be playing very often - however it is still very tempting and I would love to hear the Paris 24 May set (Dylan's 25th birthday).

Exactly. I'm a big Dylan fan too, but buying 36 versions of near on identical concerts just so you can hear him burp or fart at different moments is a no-no for me ;-) ;-)

For the hard-core fans only, methinks.

But the burps and farts of a poet laureate are, surely, significant, and must mean different things if they occur in different places in the songs. Possibly a PhD thesis in there somewhere.

Well as I was in the audience at the Royal Albert Hall May 27 gig in 66 I'm very excited at the prospect of hearing myself being "spellbound and swallowed" in the first half and somewhat confused but excited after the intermission!
Remember "Visions Of Johanna" | is NOT a druuuuuug song.....

I understand Mr Zimmer is out of contact.
