CD3 replacement lasers still available?

Hi All

I have a mate looking at buying a CD3.

Are the lasers still available for these?

99% certain they are not.

The factory spares ran out some years ago. However, I'm told that the CDM9 laser is pretty robust. Most common problem is that the disc platter drops down the spindle. That will stop the mech reading any discs, but the good news is that it's a fairly straightforward fix.
