Vicoustic Wavewood Diffuser

ive seen several pics of people using these. I have 2 to put up on my back wall. Just curious what you used to hang them. Did you glue them or did you use another method?
Here's one recommended approach - if you don't want to permanently glue it -
Get foamboards from a stationary store. (Or thick cardboard).
Glue those onto the back of the vicousics board.
Now, you can use Command Picture Hanging strips or the like to attach the foamboard to the wall.
Good idea. Thanks.
Just curious - why did you choose the wavewood over the omegawood?
Juts FYI - The OmegaWood panels can be hung like pictures - they have a wooden border on the back.
To be honest I did not know that about the omega wood. I like the look of the Wavewood and I got a good deal on them too. Saved $50 on them. Knowing that about the omega wood I'll show my wife. It is not too late to exchange. Although I do like the looks of the Wavewood better.

I used your suggested method for the install. It worked great. Here's a pic of the finished installation.
They look great! Ive used a similar method of hanging them but using 1/4" MDF board- your way seems more efficient and lighter in weight.
Thanks for the tip Monkey!

I have a couple of Wavewoods and haven't yet determined permanent placement for them. I took a long sewing needle strung with thin monofilament fishing line and inserted it from the front through the foam, at the uppermost and outermost openings on the wood veneer, creating a bridle behind the panel. That way I can hang the Wavewood like a picture from a single nail with minimal damage to the wall or the panel itself. I can also use a vertical string between the bridle and the nail to adjust the height of the panel on the wall.
What's the impact been?
Still experimenting so undetermined. I should add that the approach I described above allows the panels to be hung in the usual manner (foam against the wall) for a combination of absorption and diffusion, as well as flipping the panel backwards (foam facing front) for complete absorption.
When I got mine, they came with some adhesive. You just apply the adhesive and place 'em where you want 'em. Installation is super easy. The panels are very light.. so the adhesive has no issues holding them and I experienced no "sag" when I placed them.
As I understand it, the panels will "peel away" clean from the wall and the adhesive can be easily removed if you need to remove the panels at a later date.
Yeah, it'll come clean off, but you'll have to repaint the wall..
