I may have found a bug. I have an ND5XS/XP5XS running the latest firmware and use Asset via a QNAP TS 215. When I change the ND5's inputs from the app I find that if I go from UPNP to Spotify, Radio or USB, the only other inputs I have available on my system, that's fine. When I want to come back from there to UPNP, it doesn't happen and I have to do it from the front panel of the ND5. The app may show the UPNP albums, but the front panel on the ND5 still shows whichever of the other inputs I was using and that is indeed the one that is active.
Any thoughts or similar experiences?

Is this IOS or Android? The two apps are at different stages of development I think.
But in any case, you have to not only select upnp from the app but also select the album and then put some tracks into the play queue before the ND5 XS knows what to do. I don't think this is so much a bug as how it works.
Or maybe I have misunderstood you?

Are you using system automation and have you disabled some inputs after enabling automation? With an NDS I've found that I need to return everything to defaults (including system automation), make changes I want to the NDS, including disabling inputs I don't need, and lastly enable and set up system automation. If I don't enable system automation last then I get what (I think) you do. That is, on UPnP the app shows that a track is playing but the NDS remains on the last used input.

You're right, it does switch automatically. I have never noticed that behaviour before as I always assumed the input needed to show the correct one before it could be used and when it didn't I always got up and changed it on the front panel.
