Fraim stack order

Posted by: EastEnder on 08 September 2016

I did do a search but didn't come across a thread with this setup:

Fraim (base, 1x 264mm shelf, 2x 115mm shelf)

NAIT XS2, FlatCap XS, ND5XS, Rega TT

What would the recommended stack order be? From what I have gleaned from what I have read, I am guessing:

115mm shelf: Rega TT

115mm shelf: FlatCap XS

264mm shelf: NAIT XS2

Base: ND5XS

But...perhaps the wise on the forum would suggest otherwise?

I wouldn't think there's much in it , but if it was my system

115mm. TT

115mm. ND5XS

264mm. FlatcapXS

base. NaitXS2

wiring it up round the back will be easier and more tidy.

cheers.

Most people seem to put brains at the top and brawn at the bottom.  If you are using NAC A5 then having the amp at the bottom may make things easier, so Tobyjug's suggestion seems logical to me.

I'd have TT, amp, streamer, Flatcap. You want the amp where you can reach the buttons easily.

TT at top, Flatcap on the bottom is my recommendation. Try swapping the Nait and streamer and see if you notice a difference.
