How do I upload allready ripped CDs from an USB stick?

I can copy them to the NAS but the HDX  doesnt see the copied files.

I am Building a MP3 libery for my iPhone. I chose the 224 kbps option. Which option comes closest to the Apple Lossless?

Thank you

Jesper

The answer will depend partly on weather your HDX is the SSD or HDD version.

You need to create a SHARE directory on the nas in which to store files not ripped by the HDX.

The HDX uses a STORE directory on your nas to store rips it creates, and you the user need to create a SHARE directory on the nas to house files you've ripped elsewhere or downloaded, etc.  The user manual tells you how to do this.

If the nas has a folder called music this folder should be visible to the server automatically. If so copy an album to the music directory and see if it works.

If you are using the desktop client under Windows, on the music library tab, under internet radio you should see a list of the shares the hdx can see.already.
