David Bowie - Who Can I Be Now? (1974 - 1976) CD Box Set

Having bought the original vinyl/cassette/RCA CD/Remastered Ryko CD/Special Edition Deluxe CD/EMI remastered CD of all these albums, it seemed a bit churlish not to shell out another £100 on this box set.

So glad I did as these are (to my ears) the best sounding versions I've heard.

Great to hear the Gouster album including the alternative versions of some of the Young Americans tracks. I really like the Harry Maslin 2010 remix of Station to Station (I seem to be the only one that does!) and the two versions of David Live are amazing - for me one of the best live albums ever made.

Thanks for the heads up!

I've just bought the 192KHZ download from Highresaudio for £51!

I was really wanting Diamond Dogs but it seemed sensible to buy the lot.

PeterJ that is a great deal. Looks like you miss out on the Visconti remix of David Live and Live at Nassau Coliseum '76 - both of which have been previously available.

I just had to have the box. Although would be great to compare the 192khz with the CDs.

£100 for the full 12 CD set is a good deal too.

Wherever possible I am replacing ripped CD albums with 96KHZ/192KHZ 24 bit downloads. The high res versions do sound better even on my SU.
