'Dimmable' led downlights.

I know the use of light dimmers is a no-no for sound quality , but does this also apply to leds.
Im looking at some downlights with 2 stages of brightness and wondered if they work in the same way as a dimmer.
Michael.
Agreed, it does seem very expensive. I guess if I decide to try the system I'll do it a bit at a time.
Oh well, so much for the "Little bit at a time" idea. I'm now up to fourteen Hue bulbs of various types, three motion sensors, and a dimmer switch. Oh, and various apps on the iPad that do lots of very silly things. Damn, these things are addictive! I'd like to replace the six spots in the ceiling with the standard size GU10s which I understand are called Perfect Fit but I can't see mention of these being controllable by Hue. Perhaps I'm looking at the wrong thing?

If you're meaning these:

Then they cannot be controlled by Hue...

Yup - those would be fine...

Thanks Chris, them's the ones. Difficult to buy them anywhere at the moment though - the South American River Co. are quoting one to three months delivery.
Hi Tony, yes, I think they are a new product, not yet on the market.
I've been using regular 'perfect fit' LEDs (like the ones in Phil's link) in my kitchen for about a year, and they do a good job, but only with a good old fashioned light switch.
