the topic I had created under the title "https://forums.naimaudio.com/topic/upgrade-path-for-ndx-sn2" appers to be closed. Why has it been closed and could you please reopen so I may continue the thread?

As far as I know a topic not responded to after 60 days is automatically closed. Send an email requesting to reopen the topic to support@naimaudio.com and the moderators will reopen it.
As an alternative approach I flagged this thread so hopefully the moderators will reopen it for you. Make a prompt reply as I've found there is a day's window before it becomes automatically closed again.

As Joe correctly states above, topics automatically close after 60 days of inactivity (although after a recent Hoop La update they did seem to all open again - now fixed).
The topic is now open but will close again if no activity within 24 hours.
