Quadraspire SVT Bronze spike upgrade fitting help

hi there,

looking at getting the Quadraspire SVT rack 4 shelves in all for my NDX>XPS DR>SN2>NAS (thinking of the 140mm poles for spacing on top 3 shelves and 216mm for the NAS on bottom)

my query is when looking at the bronze spike upgrade kit, are you able to fit the silver mounting part through a shelf i.e. so would have a fifth shelf with the bronze spike that sat on top of the 4th rack shelf directly with no poles (seen some pics on the forum of this) - do i need anything extra to do this or does it come all supplied 

anyhow bit of guidance greatly appreciated as ever be nice to have my NDX sat on the additional floating shelf
