Odd Unitiserve problem

Posted by: heihei on 07 October 2016

All of a sudden my Unitiserve is now combining the WAV files and MP3 files created on ripping, so for every ripped CD I try and play I get 2 tracks. Any ideas how to solve this??

That's a new one...

Have you tried the restart of the Serve and your Naim app? Seems to be selecting and making a playlist out of two sources.

Is your music store no longer a store but a share?

I suspect that if it's on a NAS it has been offline for some reason and has been demoted to a share and setting it back to a store will resolve it...

Ended up deleting the MP3 files as never used them - solved the doubling-up on tracks problem but left the genres as un-assigned. Did what Phil suggested and has solved the genre tagging problem.
